We performed "Murder ar Peiceful Lake" last night at the Red Rose Quilter's Guild annual potluck dinner, and it was great fun! Everybody loved it. I was Polly Anski. We all laughed at Ima Procrastinator, who came in her jammies and said she just didn't get to her costuume together because after all, she's a procrastinator,
Logistics wise, just for your future info,if any other guilds ask you: we had around 90 people at the potluck. Meeting started at 6:30 and we were done by 9:00 so it is feasible for a larger groups (But you may already know this.) For each course, the main characters went through the buffet line first, to allow them time to eat before they started the next act.
Everyone liked the quilt top so much, we're going to finish it and raffle it off among the membership as a fund-raiser in the spring. Thanks for a great evening's entertinement. Jeannie Riley
The Susquehanna Quilter's Guild had a great time doing the Murder Mystery. It was amazing how much most of the woman resembled their characters. We all laughed and had a great time. Thanks for a great idea. Mary
